Treatment for: Fine lines, uneven skin tone, sun damage, acne/acne-prone skin, rosacea, & dull dry skin
How it works:
Microdermabrasion works by gently buffing and polishing the skin to reveal a more healthy and vibrant complexion. In addition, it also stimulates the production of collagen and new skin cells. The procedure is perfect for targeting a variety of conditions including fine lines, uneven skin tone, acne, rosacea, and dull dry skin. It is also a popular treatment for the rough skin associated with keratosis pilares (KP) found on the upper arms.
At Reflections Dermatology & Center for Skin Care, we use the SilkPeel Microdermabrasion System with Dermalinfusion; the crème de la crème in microdermabrasion technology. This system is a physician-only system that is unlike any other on the market in that it provides both non-invasive exfoliation using medical grade diamonds (not crystals) with the delivery of skin-specific topical solutions. The result is smoother feeling and more vibrant looking skin.

What to expect:
Each SilkPeel™ treatment only takes around 30 minutes to perform, and doesn't require any downtime. The SilkPeel™ Dermalinfusion™ System combines non-invasive exfoliation using medical grade diamonds with the infusion of patient-specific solutions directly to the skin without the use of crystal or other chemical exfoliants. SilkPeel™ procedures can assist in the improvement of the skin in many ways, including:
• Clarifying oily, blemish prone or acne prone skin
• Moisturizing dry, flaky patches or fine lines and wrinkles
• Brightening red, or blotchy patches, skin that has been overexposed to the sun, or just needs a brightening boost
Over a series of treatments, pigment fades away and surface irregularities, such as fine wrinkles and acne scars, begin to soften. 6 treatments spaced at 2-4 weeks apart are typically recommended for the most optimal result. Monthly treatments are then recommended to keep your skin looking and feeling its’ best.
